It is incredibly important to understand every aspect of your treatment before making any health or medical decision. From how to register as a patient to filing claims for insurance coverage, we want to make sure you have all the details you need to be prepared as a patient in our office. We can help you determine which steps you need to take to ensure your treatment is a positive and successful experience.

The pages below contain helpful material about treatment at our office, from details about your first visit to information about our anesthesia options. You can also read more about our advanced 3D imaging system and find tools to help you schedule an appointment at our office. We encourage all of our patients to review the following pages before visiting our office for their first appointment.

First Vist Information

Most of the time, your first visit will be a consultation appointment with your oral surgeon. Your surgeon will be able to review your condition, form a diagnosis, and explain your treatment options. Our staff may also take X-rays or 3D scans during this appointment if you need additional imaging services. Communication is one of the most important aspects of treatment, and our surgeons will be happy to answer any questions you have during your consultation appointment.

Please bring the following to your first appointment:

  • Any referral slips or X-rays from your referring doctor (these may be sent to us ahead of time)
  • A list of any medications you are currently taking
  • Your medical history
  • Any medical or dental insurance information (if applicable)

Patients who are under 18 years of age must bring a parent or legal guardian with them to every appointment.

For your convenience, we also offer online forms for you and your doctor to fill out prior to your first appointment. If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible (preferably at least 48 hours in advance) so that we can assist another patient.

Thank you for reviewing the information above, and we look forward to meeting you. Please feel free to contact our office if you have any additional questions.
